For principal investigators who speak English as a second language, our office offers copyediting services geared toward improving the readability of the narrative sections of grant applications. This service is available both for individual research proposals and for contributions to larger proposals that are written by non-native speakers.
Sufficient time must be allowed for thorough copyediting. At a minimum, you must give us two weeks advance notice before your final proposal submission to the Office of Research Administration. We will be more likely to be able to offer this service if you contact us as soon as you know that you will be submitting a proposal, and we can work with you to develop internal content deadlines based on the size of the proposal and the amount of work required.
