Templates for a number of required sections of NIH and NSF grant submissions are available here and through our office. These templates are designed to help you create strong overall proposals by strengthening your resources pages, biographical sketches, and budget justifications. If you would like assistance with a special section of your proposal that you find difficult (e.g., evaluation sections, which are currently required in many proposals), please contact our office at proposaldevelopment@tufts.edu as soon as possible in advance of the proposal deadline.
Assistance in constructing and refining specific aims or goals sections, both through periodic seminars and one-on-one discussions. To request one-on-one assistance, please contact us at least three weeks prior to your deadline and provide a draft of your specific aims or goals, the funding agency to which you are applying, and any Request for Applications (RFA) to which you are responding.
Grantsmanship assistance for final drafts of proposals. As resources permit, we may be able to read and offer grantsmanship advice on final drafts of research proposals. Advice may include comments on organization, adherence to RFA or other regulations, readability, and overall presentation. Please contact us at least two weeks prior to final deadline with a draft, funding agency to which you are applying, and the funding mechanism to which you are responding.
