While the Office of Proposal Development does not maintain a collection of successful grant applications for particular mechanisms, we do have permission from a number of principal investigators to share particular sections of successful proposals. These samples can demonstrate how to present your information in as effective a way as possible. Please contact the Office of Proposal Development for information on available sample sections. To obtain samples of successful proposals, we recommend that you talk to colleagues or your chair to find out if your department has example proposals available. In some circumstances (e.g., if you are applying to a new funding agency or through a new or unusual funding mechanism), the Office of Proposal Development may be able to assist you in identifying a colleague with relevant experience.
